Air Next is a handheld spirometer for basic lung-function testing in hospitals and clinics. It measures parameters such as forced expiratory volume in one second and forced vital capacity during a forced exhalation.
The system combines the spirometer, a NuvoAir disposable turbine and a mobile application. Two AAA batteries power the 75 g device, which is portable within the clinical workflow.
Patient Limits
Trained healthcare professionals use it in patients aged at least five years who weigh more than 10 kg and are at least 110 cm tall. Diagnostic interpretation belongs to a healthcare professional. The described configuration is limited to clinical settings.
