China is where this index starts: 5,100 medical device manufacturers there hold a United States FDA registration, spread across 31 provinces and municipalities. This page is the map of where they are — every province, with a count, linking through to its own list of manufacturers.

The register is recent. Of the 48,975 product listings these manufacturers have opened with the FDA, 29,037 date from 2020 or later: 4,921 were opened in 2025 and 3,944 in 2026. Each manufacturer’s page gives the year of its earliest listing under every device type.
