The CTM-RP01 ETCO2 Sensor measures carbon dioxide in exhaled breath and sends the measurement data to a compatible patient monitor. It is a mainstream sensor used with the General Meditech G3C monitor during anesthesia, recovery, intensive care, emergency transport or respiratory care.
An infrared light source and detector attach around an airway adapter between the patient’s airway and the respirator. The sensor uses nondispersive infrared measurement as exhaled gas passes through the adapter, and the host monitor converts incoming data for display.
