The Fisher & Paykel MR810 respiratory humidifier adds heat and moisture to gases supplied during noninvasive ventilation or continuous gas-flow therapy. It is intended for hospital, long-term care and home use under prescription from a qualified medical professional.
A microprocessor controls a heater that warms water in a humidification chamber. Respiratory gas passes through the chamber and then through the inspiratory tube to the patient. With a compatible heated circuit connected, the humidifier also supplies power to a heater wire inside that tube.
