The Sunset Heated CPAP Tube warms breathing gas as it passes through a compatible noninvasive ventilation circuit for an adult patient. Its heated wire reduces condensation and pooling within the tubing. It is intended for reuse by one patient at home or in specified clinical care settings.
Current from the compatible humidifier passes through heating wires enclosed in the tube wall. Electrical resistance produces heat that transfers to the passing air. A temperature sensitive component near the mask end responds to the gas temperature and regulates the heating current.

The tube connects to Philips Respironics System One and Dreamstation heated humidifiers through a proprietary two tab locking connector. It is 1.83 metres long with a 15 mm internal diameter.
