The Cardiart DS101 Electronic Stethoscope detects, amplifies and records body sounds during clinical examinations of children, adolescents and adults. It is intended for diagnostic use in clinics or hospitals, including listening to heart, lung, chest, abdominal and vascular sounds.
A digital signal processor filters and amplifies the detected sounds for listening through the headset. The device has a colour OLED display and controls for recording and selecting settings. It can display an acoustically derived heart rate when consistent heart sounds are present.

It is used for any subject undergoing a physical examination and intended only for medical diagnostic purposes in clinic or hospital.
Recording and Power
Two AAA batteries power the stethoscope. Bluetooth can transfer raw audio to an external device such as a computer, although the stethoscope operates independently without Bluetooth transfer.
