The Keikku digital stethoscope amplifies, filters and transmits heart, lung, bowel and vascular sounds from children and adults. Professionals use it in clinical settings, while lay users may use it outside the clinic under healthcare-provider supervision. It is not intended for self-diagnosis.
The device records sound, converts it to digital data and sends it to a mobile device through Bluetooth. Rotation adjusts volume, a tap starts or ends recording, and an LED indicates device status.
Application Functions
The accompanying application provides visualisation, annotations, secure storage, playback and sharing of the audio. These functions allow a clinician to listen to recordings from the patient’s location or remotely.
