The Globe Controller is the signal-processing and energy-generation unit of the Globe Pulsed Field System for cardiac anatomical and electrophysiological mapping and stimulation. It acquires and processes the signals used to construct maps of cardiac anatomy and electrical activity.
The controller generates mapping energy and stimulation pulses. It connects with compatible catheters and the Globe workstation, where the clinician views mapping information and assesses contact between catheter electrodes and the atrial wall.
Diagnostic System Connections
Surface electrodes and their cable support impedance-based localization of the mapping catheter. The workstation software presents electroanatomical maps and supports the application of stimulation pulses for diagnostic purposes.
