iMap is a three-dimensional cardiac mapping and catheter-navigation system for conventional electrophysiology procedures. It displays compatible catheter positions, electrical waveforms and electroanatomical maps of the patient’s cardiac chambers.
Electromagnetic and impedance tracking locate catheters and generate chamber geometry. Electrogram information from catheter electrodes is then displayed on that patient-specific surface.
Navigation Reference
The system is used with a MultiLink coronary sinus catheter containing electromagnetic sensors and electrodes. This catheter supplies the navigation coordinate reference and records electrograms during the procedure.
