The Sunmed High Pressure Line connects an angiographic syringe to a catheter during coronary angiography. It carries contrast media, saline or other diagnostic fluids between those components as part of the injection pathway.
The line consists of flexible tubing with a female luer connector at the syringe end and a male luer connector at the catheter end. Configurations may use a rotating male luer and protective caps to suit the connection arrangement.
Supply Condition
The connecting line is supplied sterile after ethylene-oxide sterilisation and is intended for single use. It provides the fluid connection while the syringe or injector supplies the driving force.
