The SA Series Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor records systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse over a preprogrammed period. A cuff on the upper arm inflates and deflates for oscillometric measurement. The patient carries the monitor while it stores the readings.
Use is intended for adults and pediatric patients older than 12 years as an aid to diagnosis and treatment. Measurements transfer by cable or Bluetooth to Smart ABPM View software on a computer. The analysis application displays, analyzes and permits editing of the recorded information.
Recording Workflow
After the monitoring period, the patient returns to the treatment site for data retrieval and review. The portable recorder and computer software perform different roles: the recorder acquires measurements, while the PC application supports subsequent review of the stored pressure and pulse record.
