Registry build 21.09.26

Destino Reach is a steerable guiding sheath used to introduce diagnostic or therapeutic devices into the vasculature. It supports intracardiac, renal, and other peripheral placement. The listed sheath is an 8.5 Fr configuration.

Turning a collar on the handle bends the distal tip in either direction. A radiopaque tip supports visualization, while a hemostatic valve, sideport with stopcock, and side flush ports provide access and fluid handling during the procedure.

Dilator and Guidewire

The supplied dilator locks to the sheath and has depth markings and a tapered distal tip. Its inner lumen is recommended for a 0.035 to 0.038 inch guidewire or transseptal needle. The device is not intended for neural placement.

Recalls

3 of these are Class I. Class I is the FDA’s most serious grade: a reasonable probability of serious injury or death. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
