ulrichINJECT CT motion is a syringeless system that automatically administers contrast medium and saline into the venous circulation during CT examinations. A peristaltic pump moves fluid from containers through a connected tubing system to the patient.
The system consists of an injector, control terminal and tubing. Air detection, pressure controls and check valves monitor delivery and help prevent air passage, excessive pressure and fluid backflow.
Tubing and Configuration
Mobile pedestal and ceiling-mounted versions are available. Patient tubing is discarded after each procedure, and each container spike is for one bottle. Pump tubing has defined limits on bottle count and duration, and contrast container use must follow the applicable labeling.
