The SurfRider 13 Microcatheter provides a route for introducing interventional devices or diagnostic agents into the brain’s blood vessels. It can deliver devices such as embolic coils through its single channel. The catheter is advanced over a steerable guidewire toward the intended neurovascular location.
Its shaft becomes progressively softer toward the tip and uses metal braid reinforcement. Two distal radiopaque markers help show its position during fluoroscopy. The exterior hydrophilic coating improves lubricity, and a proximal luer adapter connects accessories.
