The Oxiband wrist pulse oximeter measures oxygen saturation and pulse rate in adults. It displays, stores and transmits results for spot checks or continuous data collection in sleep laboratories, long term care, hospitals and the home. Its results are for preliminary screening and are not intended to directly determine diagnosis or treatment.
The device combines a wrist worn main unit, an oxygen saturation sensor, a wristband and a charging cable. Electronic measurement and control circuits process the sensor signal and present the readings on the display. An internal battery powers the device.
Scope of Use
This prescription device collects measurements rather than providing continuous patient monitoring. The sensor is reusable and nonsterile. It is not intended for life supporting or life sustaining use.
