The LGT-2202DVT applies intermittent pneumatic compression through sleeves connected by hoses to a controller. Air sequentially inflates and deflates the sleeves to apply pressure around the limb. The prescription device is intended for patients older than 22 years in clinics and hospitals.
Leg sleeves are used for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism prophylaxis. Foot compression has additional indications including circulation enhancement, acute or chronic edema, pain associated with trauma or surgery, leg ulcers, and venous stasis or insufficiency.
Controller Configuration
The controller provides four compression modes and supports calf, thigh and foot sleeves. It can operate from an AC power supply or its rechargeable lithium battery, with controls on the unit for selecting treatment operation.
