ADVIA Chemistry LSP Liquid Specific Protein Calibrators provide reference levels for calibrating protein assays on ADVIA Chemistry systems. The liquid material contains several analytes derived from human sources in a buffered base, allowing the analyser to be calibrated for the specified protein measurement methods.
The calibrators are supplied ready to use, without preparation. There are six concentration levels, with the first serving as a zero level and the remaining five containing assigned constituent concentrations. Each vial contains 1 mL.
Listed Item
Liquid Specific Protein – ADVIA Chem. – CAL – 6x1mL
Supported Protein Methods
The assigned methods include alpha-acid glycoprotein, alpha-1-antitrypsin, anti-streptolysin O, complement C3 and C4, haptoglobin, immunoglobulins A, G and M, prealbumin, rheumatoid factor and transferrin. Ferritin and CRP are present in the formulation but have no assigned values for these ADVIA Chemistry applications.

Recalls
16 of these are Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Class III is unlikely to cause harm at all → typically a labelling or documentation fault. 2 are recorded with the root cause “No Marketing Application”: the device was distributed without the premarket submission its class requires, a compliance finding rather than a defect. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
