The ARK Hydrocodone Calibrator provides reference materials for calibrating the ARK Hydrocodone Assay. Its assigned hydrocodone concentrations establish the calibration points used by the assay when screening human urine for hydrocodone and its metabolites.
The calibrator series contains levels of 0, 50, 100, 300 and 800 ng/mL. These levels include the assay’s 300 ng/mL cutoff and support the calibration used for qualitative detection or semiquantitative estimation on automated clinical chemistry equipment.
Reference Material
The calibrators are prepared by diluting high-purity hydrocodone into processed human urine that is initially free of hydrocodone. The material is nonsterile, and its hydrocodone source is traceable to a certified solution characterized by HPLC.
