The Hybrid S70 is a portable dental X-ray exposure unit used with an external film, digital sensor or phosphor plate. Its generator and tube produce radiation directed through a beam-limiting cone toward the teeth for dental imaging.
Battery power charges the internal power circuitry, which supplies the high-voltage transformer and X-ray tube when the exposure control is activated. An LCD displays exposure settings, and the unit includes shielding around the components apart from the radiation opening.

Mounted Operation
The package includes a remote exposure switch, charger and backscatter shield. The remote switch can be used when the unit is mounted on an optional stand or tripod. The image detector is a separate component.
