NOMAD Pro 3 is a battery-powered handheld dental X-ray source used by trained, qualified dentists or dental technicians. It produces diagnostic dental images for adults and children using an image receptor positioned inside the mouth.
The unit has a fixed tube voltage of 65 kV and current of 2.5 mA. The operator selects the exposure time, aligns the beam with the receptor and uses the trigger to enable and then deliver the exposure.
