The NP-350E portable dental X-ray source is a handheld device used with an image receptor inside the mouth. The CS 2400P trade configuration produces dental radiographs using film, digital intraoral sensors or phosphor plates, for adult and pediatric patients under a trained dentist or dental technician.
A rechargeable supercapacitor powers the main tube-head unit and its DC generator. Tube voltage is fixed at 70 kV and current at 3.5 mA; the operator adjusts exposure time through the control panel and initiates the exposure with the handle trigger.
Device Configuration
The system includes a charging cradle and AC/DC power supply. A beam-limiting cone directs the X-ray field. It is intended for dental offices or comparable clinical environments where appropriate radiation safeguards are implemented.
