The RAYSCAN alpha-P is an extraoral dental X-ray system for panoramic imaging of the teeth, jaws and oral cavity. It is the panoramic configuration of the RAYSCAN alpha-Expert system.
The system generates and controls an X-ray beam outside the oral cavity and captures the panoramic image using its C10500D detector. The detector configuration determines the available imaging arrangement.
Configuration
Alpha-P includes panoramic imaging. Cephalometric imaging belongs to other configurations that add scan-type or one-shot cephalometric detectors. SMARTDent software for image processing and archiving is optional.
