Zahndent Dental Zirconia Blanks are milled into all-ceramic restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays. Dental laboratories or professionals process the blanks using CAD/CAM or manual milling equipment.
The ceramic contains zirconium oxide with yttrium, hafnium and aluminum oxides. Pre-shaded versions incorporate small amounts of inorganic pigments before forming, producing tooth-like color after sintering.
Restoration Workflow
The blank provides the starting material rather than a finished restoration. The selected model, shade and shape are milled to the required form and sintered in the dental laboratory before the restoration is completed.
