Luminesse Low Fusing Porcelain is a dental ceramic used to construct crowns, bridgework and veneers with metal or pressable ceramic frameworks. Trained dental technicians use the material to build restorations for individual patients under the direction of a dental professional.
The material is a leucite-fortified glass ceramic supplied in powders, liquids and pressable pellets. It can be used for all-ceramic, pressed-to-metal and fused-to-metal restorations, with the appropriate framework and processing technique.
Thermal Compatibility
The porcelain is formulated to match the thermal expansion of its supporting material, limiting stress during cooling after firing.
