The OsteoCentric 5.5 mm by 10 mm dental implant provides an attachment for prosthetic restorations in the upper or lower jaw. It is surgically placed in partially or completely edentulous jaws to support restoration of chewing function. Threads provide fixation within the bone.
The implant is made from titanium alloy and has a resorbable-media-blasted surface. A cover screw is supplied with the sterile implant to protect the internal connection during bone and gum healing. Compatible abutments connect the implant to the restoration.
Loading and Compatibility
Immediate loading requires primary stability and appropriate occlusal loading. The implant system is intended for use with Implant Logistics 300, 400 and 500 Series abutments and healing caps. The connection and component selection must match the implant configuration.
