Jet Flow Bulk Universal is a flowable dental composite that hardens when exposed to visible curing light. It serves as a base or liner under direct restorations and can also be used for pit and fissure sealing, Class III and V restorations and repairs of specified temporary restorative materials.
The material combines methacrylate resins with inorganic fillers. Light activates a photoinitiator system, causing the resin groups to polymerize into a hard composite. A permanent dental adhesive bonds the resulting material to the tooth structure. Universal is one of the available shades.
Composition and Delivery
The composite contains Bis-GMA, UDMA and Bis-EMA resins, with silica and ytterbium fluoride fillers. Inorganic filler represents about 61 percent of its weight. It is supplied in syringes with disposable application tips for dental use.
