TopCEM Dual Cure Resin Cement fixes dental restorations in place and can also be used for core build ups. Its uses include permanent cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers and root canal posts. The cement bonds restorations made from metal, ceramic, porcelain, composite or combinations of these materials.
The material contains a base paste and a catalyst paste mixed in equal volumes. Setting occurs when methacrylate resin components polymerize through chemical activation, light activation or both. In the Automix format, the two pastes are supplied in a double barrel syringe.
Radiographic Appearance
The cement contains inorganic fillers and is radiopaque, making it distinguishable on dental radiographs. Several shades are available within the product range.
