Veneer Try-in Gel evaluates restoration shade and matching before permanent cementation. The TopCEM-Try in material approximates the appearance of the associated light-cure veneer cement so a clinician can select the appropriate color.
The gel combines polyethylene glycol, inorganic fillers and pigments. It is hydrophilic and can be rinsed away with water after the shade assessment.
Delivery and Storage
The material is supplied in a syringe for prescription dental use. Inorganic fillers occupy approximately half its volume. Storage is from 2 to 25 degrees Celsius away from direct light. Its purpose is temporary shade evaluation before the final restoration is cemented.
