C&B 5.0 Hybrid is a light curable resin used to fabricate temporary dental restorations. It is intended for extraoral printing and curing, with the finished restoration remaining in the mouth for less than 30 days.
A DLP or LCD printer builds the restoration in successive layers, using 405 nm light to activate the resin’s photoinitiator. Additional curing takes place in a separate light curing unit after printing.
Material Form
The material is supplied as a premixed liquid based on methacrylate and urethane resin components with a small amount of inorganic filler. The described shade is A2. The resin is not supplied sterilized.
