Pro-V Coat is a water-soluble dental separating agent used between a resin-based temporary restoration and a surface where permanent bonding is not desired. It can separate the temporary resin from an adhesive layer or remaining tooth structure.
The coating stays in place with the temporary restoration during the temporary phase of treatment. When the restoration is removed with hand instruments, the separating agent is rinsed away with copious water before the next restoration stage.
Physical Form
Pro-V Coat is a low-viscosity material containing a volatile solvent. Its water solubility allows removal by rinsing.
