TempFIT Temporary Crown and Bridge Resin is a self-curing composite for fabricating temporary crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers. It contains separate base and catalyst pastes based on methacrylate resin, with inorganic fillers and additives.
Mixing the pastes starts a redox reaction that generates free radicals. These initiate polymerization of methacrylate double bonds and groups on the filler-surface coupling agents, forming the hardened composite restoration material.
Cartridge Configurations
The resin is supplied in a cartridge with base-to-catalyst volume ratios of either 1:1 or 10:1, depending on the configuration. These are distinct product formats, rather than interchangeable mixing proportions. The material is supplied for prescription dental use.
