Shandong Huge’s Denture Base is a light-curable resin for making and repairing removable denture bases, including full, partial and immediate dentures. It can also form baseplates and try-in dentures used to evaluate a planned restoration.
A software-controlled 3D printer builds the shape from a digital denture design by exposing successive layers of liquid resin to light. Photoactivated polymerization changes the resin into a rigid dental base.
Material and Workflow
The DB model is offered in multiple shades with a common methacrylate resin formulation containing photoinitiator, filler and pigments. Fabrication uses an oral impression or digital scan, a digital design, compatible printing equipment and light-curing equipment. The resin can also assist bonding of denture teeth to the base.
