Identic Alginate is an elastic, irreversible hydrocolloid material for dental impressions. It records the teeth and surrounding gum anatomy so a positive plaster model can be made for study or restorative planning.
The impression is a mould of the mouth’s anatomy rather than the final dental restoration. It can support diagnostic models and production of prosthetic devices such as inlays or dentures.
