Sildent Fast Heavy Body is a vinyl polysiloxane impression material used to reproduce the shape of teeth and gums. Mixing its separate base and catalyst starts an addition reaction that converts the viscous material into an elastic, rubber-like solid.
The material takes the shape of the surfaces it contacts while setting. The Heavy Body version is distinct from the lower viscosity Fast Light Body material and from the separate Sildent Bite registration product.
