Clearfil DC Activator is an additive mixed with the BOND component of a compatible Clearfil bonding system. It activates that system’s dual-curing mechanism when paired with self-cured or dual-cured restorative materials.
The activator is used as part of the adhesive combination. The supported material groups include composite filling materials, resin cements and core build-up materials.
Bonding System Pairings
Examples include Clearfil SE Bond 2 and Clearfil SE Protect. With the compatible bonding system, the activator supports core build-up using self-cured or dual-cured materials and cementation using self-cured or dual-cured composite resin cements.
