Fusion Bond 7 is a light-cured dental bonding agent used to attach restorations to tooth structure. It combines etching, priming and bonding in a single-component formulation, allowing these preparation and bonding functions to be performed in one step.
Its uses include bonding composites to teeth, core buildup and adhesive cementation of crowns and bridges, including inlays and onlays. The bonding agent is cured using light.
Formulation
The formulation contains methacrylate resin ingredients, including bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate, urethane dimethacrylate and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate. Other listed ingredients include camphorquinone, tertiary butanol and butylated hydroxytoluene.
