Fusion Bond DC is a dental adhesive for bonding direct and indirect restorations to tooth structure. It is indicated for direct light-cured composite or compomer restorations, core buildup and adhesive cementation of crowns and bridges, including inlays and onlays.
The adhesive uses two components: a bonding agent and an activator. Its dual-cure formulation bonds to enamel and dentin after the surfaces have been conditioned with 37% phosphoric acid etchant. The bonding agent and activator are the functional components of this system.
Preparation and Shelf Life
Etching is a separate preparation step before Fusion Bond DC is applied. The material has a two-year shelf life.
