Renew MDP is a light-cured, single-component adhesive for bonding dental restorations to teeth. It combines etching, priming and bonding in one bottle and bonds to dentin and cut or uncut enamel.
The adhesive works with light-cured, self-cured and dual-cured composite materials. Its applications include bonding composite or compomer restorations, treatment of hypersensitive teeth, and intraoral repair of fractured restorations.
Adhesive Formulation
The ethanol-water formulation contains the functional monomer 10-MDP. Its resin ingredients include bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate, urethane dimethacrylate and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate, with camphorquinone also present. These ingredients belong to the single-component Renew MDP formulation.
