LW Narrow Pre-milled Abutment is a titanium alloy blank machined into a patient-specific support for a dental prosthesis. A clinician prescribes the final shape, and CAD/CAM machining customizes its cylindrical section. It is intended for cemented or combined screw-and-cement-retained restorations.
The narrow abutment connects to the LW Narrow Implant System with the specified narrow abutment screw. It uses a 2.1 mm internal connection and is offered with hex or nonhex engagement. The narrow design envelope permits diameters of 4.0 or 4.5 mm.
Design and Preparation Limits
The patient-specific design requires at least 0.4 mm wall thickness and a 4 mm post height for single-unit restorations. Gingival height ranges from 1 to 7 mm, with angulation up to 30 degrees. The Ti-6Al-4V ELI abutment is supplied nonsterile for user sterilization before use.
