LW Retraction Cap protects the LW Solid Abutment or LW Vis Abutment within the oral cavity. It is a temporary component of the LW Implant System used during implant-based prosthetic treatment.
The cap is made from polyoxymethylene and has no surface treatment. Diameter options range from 5.0 to 8.7 mm, with lengths of 5.5, 7.0 or 8.5 mm to match the compatible abutment.
Preparation and Duration
Caps are supplied nonsterile and require sterilization by the user before placement. Maximum clinical use is 30 days. The cap’s protective role applies to the specified LW abutments within the restorative system.
