The Surgical Drive System converts electrical power into rotary motion for surgical handpieces. It includes a motor, power console, foot control, connection cables and an integrated pump. The touch display shows operating settings and allows changes within defined limits.
ES70, ES90 and E8 models are intended for drilling, milling, cutting, sawing and positioning osteosynthesis screws, implants or plate systems in soft and hard tissue. The indicated specialties are ENT and maxillofacial surgery. The motor supplies power through an ISO 3964 Type 3 connector.
Motor and Foot Control
The motor has a maximum speed of 40,000 revolutions per minute and connects to handpieces with specified gear ratios. The foot control activates or stops the motor and changes functions such as program, pump status and rotation direction. The system is supplied nonsterile for prescription use.
