Elec-LED is a dental micromotor and controller system for motorized handpieces used in restoration, preventive treatment and endodontic procedures. It converts the dental treatment center’s pneumatic control output into electrical motor control.
The brushless motor’s speed and direction are set through the controller and display panel. Hand-control, press-pedal and electric-pedal operating modes are available.
Model Options
The documented motor range is 1,000 to 40,000 rpm with clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. The family includes configurations with or without LED lighting and with different spray-air or water-hose arrangements. These optional features depend on the selected EL-B40 model and the connected dental treatment unit.
