The Perio Mate Nozzle Tip is a disposable tip fitted to the end of a Perio-Mate handpiece for subgingival cleaning. It removes soft deposits from tooth surfaces and prostheses, including implant abutments, during nonsurgical periodontal treatment.
Compressed air carries the polishing agent through the system to the tip. Placed within a periodontal pocket, the tip sprays polishing agent and water onto the subgingival treatment area.
Use and Supply
The tip is indicated for removing subgingival plaque in pockets up to 5 mm after initial periodontal treatment. It is supplied sterile after ethylene oxide gas sterilization and is intended for single use.
