The Premium Plus Prophy Air Motor drives a disposable prophy angle with polishing paste to polish teeth during dental prophylaxis. It is used by trained dental clinicians, including dentists and hygienists, in dental offices. Compressed air supplies the energy for its pneumatic rotor.
The rotor turns an internal drive shaft, gearing and chuck to drive the attached prophy angle. The motor has an anodized aluminum body and stainless steel internal parts. It connects to a standard four-hole Midwest style air hose connector and standard Doriot style prophy angles.
