The ProSomnus EVO [PH] Sleep and Snore Device holds the lower jaw forward during sleep to reduce nighttime snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea in adults. It is a patient-specific oral appliance made from a dental prescription.
Separate upper and lower arches are joined by telescopic Herbst advancers. Turning the adjustment mechanism increases forward jaw positioning in small increments according to the prescribed schedule. The wearer can still move the jaw forward and sideways and open and close the mouth.
Construction
The arches are digitally designed and milled for the patient. The device uses medical-grade polymer, stainless-steel Herbst arms and an adhesive, and is supplied nonsterile.
