The TD Clip is a temporary mandibular repositioning appliance for adults with snoring or mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. It holds upper and lower dental trays at a prescribed forward jaw position while the patient waits for a custom appliance.
A dental professional fits the trays using polyvinyl siloxane impression material and fastens them with the clip assembly. Changing the jaw position requires a new clip setting by the healthcare professional.
Treatment Duration
The appliance is intended for patients aged 18 years or older and for use during sleep for fewer than 30 nights. It requires professional fitting and is not intended for patients with central sleep apnea, loose teeth, full dentures or dental implants.
