The Visura TEECAD Carrier is a single-use camera accessory that attaches to a Philips X7-2t transesophageal echocardiography probe. It provides the physician with a view during placement of the probe in an adult patient’s esophagus.
The carrier contains an integrated camera that works with the TEECAD viewing system. The physician watches the endoscopic images on that system’s display while positioning the probe. Once the probe reaches its target location, the carrier is removed so that cardiac ultrasound imaging can proceed.
Compatibility
The carrier is intended for use with the Philips X7-2t TEE transducer. The viewing system contains manufacturer-installed software for displaying the placement images.
