The EndoClot Applicator delivers a powdered hemostatic agent to a treatment site during endoscopic surgery. It works with an external hospital gas source to move the powder through the applicator toward the site reached by the endoscope.
The device includes a catheter, a gas and powder mixing chamber, connecting tubing, and a gas filter. The gas supply carries powder from the mixing chamber through the delivery catheter. The applicator is a delivery accessory.
Materials and Supply
The applicator uses PTFE and polypropylene, with PVC connecting tubing. It is sterilized by ethylene oxide and packaged in a Tyvek and PETG sterile barrier. Its shelf life is three years.
