GTK Trocars create a port through which endoscopic instruments enter a body cavity. Each trocar combines an obturator for entry with a cannula that remains as the working passage after the obturator is removed.
The cannula assembly includes a stopcock, trocar cap and seal. The cap accommodates instruments of different diameters, while the cannula valve maintains sealing during use.
CT Configurations
The CT range includes bladed, bladeless and optical trocar versions. The obturator assembly fits into the cannula through an indicator fitting before entry. Available configurations span 3 to 12 mm in diameter and 55 to 100 mm in length. Trocars are ethylene oxide sterilized and intended for single use.
