The ab medica Irrigation/Suction Gravity System delivers sterile irrigation fluid and removes blood or small tissue debris from the surgical field during laparoscopy. It is intended for surgeons working in an operating room, including gynecological and gallbladder laparoscopic procedures.
A control handpiece is preconnected to a twin tubing set and removable cannula. The cannula passes through a trocar to the operative site, and the surgeon operates handpiece valves to control irrigation or suction through the cannula.
Cannula Options
The tubing set and 5 mm and 10 mm cannulas are supplied sterile for single use. The 3 mm cannula is reusable and supplied nonsterile; it must be cleaned, disinfected and steam sterilized before each use.
